My friends call me Shining and I’m a learner at heart. I started my journey in academia where I studied quantum computing and network neuroscience. Eventually I found my passion in applying algorithms to solve challenges in large data processing and creating software solutions to help experts do what they do best. I’ve found that dedication and perseverance drive meaningful progress, and I carry that philosophy into everything I do.

- Led the rebuild of a 25-year-old legacy system into a modern web API architecture using ASP.NET, Angular, and a fully normalized SQL database hosted on Azure.
- Developed secure user-resource permissioning and implemented integration and unit testing.
- Created data migration pipeline on Azure Data Factory to migrate 25+ years of data on a MySQL server to a secured Azure SQL database server. Contributed to the development of a data migration strategy to minimize business disruption.
- Developed new features for an MVC application used by a legal firm and migrated the platform to an Angular + ASP.NET Web API stack.
- Built dashboard and system-notification features for an ERP application written in Blazor.
- Managed production and test environments in Microsoft Azure; handled Git version control and performed code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
